Distrust Should Not Prevent Evangelicals and Secularists from Doing Good

Nicholas Kristof opines that dismissing all evangelical Christians because a few are self-righteous and vocal is unfair to the majority of evangelical Christians who are not. To do so is "reverse intolerance" and fails to recognize the millions of evangelicals who work to eliminate poverty and injustice, some risking their lives to do so. Rather than religious and secular people distrusting each other, he suggests they work together to make the world a better place.
